Behind The Mike

Well, the new Michael Jackson cd (that’s the guy behind the’Swingin’ the Cat’ song) is going to be called ‘Behind the Mike’.
And it was my idea!

To think he was going to call it “I Can SeeThe Ocean”. I’m so proud.

At Work

Erk, that sucked. Just as I was about to sit down and dig into my awesome sandwich (with chicken, lettuce, beetroot, onion, carrot and aspara… um, capsicum), read the Spike section of today’s SMH and drink my excessively large coke, a truck containingthe ENTIRE Opera House Aboriginal Art shop (which is kaput from today) arrived. So my sandwich just sat there for an hour.

Speaking of the Opera House, Dad & Ruth won a case against them today for making said shop shut down, so I’m figuring I’ll have to curb my Opera viewing enthusiasm, since the establishment willprobably hate us as much as Cartier (mum had the Cartier guys shut down).

A Copenhagen ice cream place has opened right next door to the ATAC! (that’s where I work!). I think Georgie and Garth went there last night.

Ruth is taking a trip to Malaysia on Friday. After my initial excitement about her getting shot this morning turned out to be fraudulent (just a Hepatitis A shot), I was excited about the fact that shewas taking malaria tablets. Unfortunately they turned out to be ANTI-malaria tablets. Argh. Well I hope Malaysia has LOTS of Bananas.

Hmmm Lousie (she works here too… and, um, I’m 90% sure this is her
website…) just returned from the Copenhagen. Apparently she was goingto get a milkshake but there were “too many damn kids” there. That’s the’youth of today’ for you, always eating their ‘iced cream’.I want some more Ganache (what Alys and I had for dessert last night. It was chocolate, butter and cream melted together. Mmmm).

Manwich

Not long until I can leave on my lunch break and collectone of the world’s best sandwiches! No wait. I can go now!

Huzzah!

Binan Binan

BINAN BINAN. WHOAAAAA WHOAAAAAA.
Sorry. I got carried away with this awesome songwhich I “borrowed” from the Aboriginal Art Gallery. No, really, I “borrowed” it. Argh! Why the “s? Word doesn’t believe me?
I went for a walk today to Marrickville Park, whichhas one of those giant rocket ships in it. In other rocket ship news, Pat likes the one I made for the house (as promised in February). I think he needs his eyefixed.Good luck to Alys and Georgie in their exam today! Also, I know probably won’t read this, but an unseen’good luck’ is still a nice thought huh?

Pigeon John

Ugly Duckling! In terms of awesome live shows, do the Flaming Lips nearly meat their match? Well, no. But Ugly D (am I a fan, pat?) were very rad! They made some hapless college kid drink a meat shake®!
‘Turn It Up’ was by far the best song I have ever seen live. Also, despite the fact that Garth hated him, Pigeon John was awesome, and I bought his cd for $15 (and an armband with a pigeon on it). He even signed it. And to add to my previous Ugly D signing bonanza, I also got a poster which I ripped from the gaelic club that I also got signed.
Huzzah. I am going to bed!
Oh and my iPod works again on my pc. Glory days be here, it has never been easier to put a Pigeon Pete, no, Jupiter Boy, Pigeon John cd on my iPod.

Energy!

Well I got an energy drink (Gatorade) signed by Ugly Duckling. Hooray. And now I’m about to go to the concert. It’s going to be very awesome! Huzzah.
Also, I told them my name was Kwame, and thereforeI have an Andy signature saying “Kwame is Fresh!”. He should have written that I was ‘down to Earth’ (Captain Planet). Also, Gatorade is in Word autocorrect for primary Nouns. Ka-ching!

Quite Insane

I will make ugly duckling a MEAT SHAKE and they will think I am #1 FAN! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Mein Gott

The HMV

See, now it is midday, with a PM. Not confusing to me... certainly not. Soon I am going to HMV to get my Moleskine signed by Ugly Duckling, a Lenin stamp, that Daft Punk DVD, and possibly some awesome yoghurt at the food court in the city.

First Post

I just found out for sure that AM is the nighttime form of 12 o’clock. I always get confused about that. Like, I’m fine with 8PM being nighttime 8 o’clock, but when midday 12 is PM, that’s just confusing. Why shouldn’t it go from 1- 12 instead of 12-11? Well, from now on, no more! I will remember that AM is night time 12. Maybe I will make up something to remind me. Like, AM could equal "A Moon”. No wait, you can see the moon during the day too. Ok, AM could mean “a orrow”. No wait that makes no sense. I am too tired to tell whether it makes sense or not. Anyway, that is all for the moment. I am excited about Going to ugly ducking tomorrow, especially the signing. I will say “see you tonight” and they will be scared. Also I’ll buy that INTERSTELLA 5555 DVD. Will be awesome. Pat is working on his blog at the moment and it’s taking a long time. Hmmm. Also, Alys is working very hard on her exam and is pretty stressed about it. I think I will get her some form of procrastination-inducing gift. If I don’t, and she reads this, wouldn’t that be embarrassing?
Also, originally this blog was going to have a green background with pink text, ala some guy’s manifesto (not Lenin), but I decided not to be so blatantly shit. More subtlety shit. I used auto-correct to spell subtletly. Whoops, no auto-correct there. Black books is funny. I want to be Bernard or Manny. They are funny and drunk and I have been mostly sober recently.
Ok I should go to bed. Big day tomorrow!
